Let's continue our tour behind the scene of TExTOUR project meeting Jelena Jelena Pujic, archaeologist and curator at the Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Trebinje.

Meeting Igor Kuvač, assistant professor at the University of Banja Luka and coordinator of the Center for Spatial Research ICPROSTOR, which is part of the TExTOUR project.

In September 2024, the TExTOUR project will end. In these years, we learned, experimented, and created innovative solutions to find a sustainable path for cultural tourism development in remote areas in Europe and beyond. Let’s see how we did.

Within TExTOUR project, we developed a successful strategy for sustainable cultural tourism development, but we do not want to keep it for ourselves. To be sure that the project’s heritage of methodology, good practices and lessons learnt lives beyond the end of TExTOUR, we produced several training materials for those who want to implement our methodology.
TExTOUR is a project rooted in the past, with its traditions and heritage, but projected to the future. Looking forward, beyond the end of the project itself, TExTOUR is implementing a series of strategies to facilitate the replicability and upscaling of its methods.

In our latest episode of the Meet TExTOUR series, we had the pleasure of speaking with Laura Plugge from Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsche Fachwerkstadte.
