In December 2022, the Local Tourist Organisation of the City of Gwarki, was officially added to the register of associations by the court in Gliwice, Poland. Now is the time to take another step forward.
The aim of the Local Tourist Organisation is to valorise the touristic potential of the post-mining monuments from the UNESCO list while preserving them for future generations.
The development strategy of the Local Tourist Organisation is to create a series of services and infrastructures for tourists who wants to visit the silver mine region of Tarnowskie Góry and its surroundings.
The creation of new infrastructures will go together with the development of a digital tourist information system to attract more visitors and help them have the best experience in visiting the post-mining monuments.
On the 27th of April 2023, the TExTOUR pilot site of Tarnowskie Góry will take one further step with the signature of the agreement between
IETU and the Local Tourist Organisation.
