The 4th International Congress on Technnology and Tourism for Diversity will take place the 15 – 19 November 2021, online.

The main focus will be on tourism accessibility and inclusion.

The conference is organized by ONCE – Foundation for cooperation and social inclusion of persons with disabilities, in collaboration with the UNWTO – United Nations World Tourism Organization, and ENAT- the European Network for Accessible Tourism.

TExTOUR: a journey across sustainable cultural tourism in Europe and beyond

TExTOUR is a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020, from January 2021 to September 2024. It sees the participation of 18 partners, coordinated by Fundación Santa María la Real, from 13 countries, covering all the sections of the social innovation helix (knowledge, business, society, government, and entrepreneurs).

TExTOUR shares its achievements and resources for the future of sustainable tourism

TExTOUR is an EU-funded project that aims to co-design pioneering and sustainable strategies for cultural tourism, intending to improve disadvantaged areas in Europe and beyond. Through the experience gained in its eight pilot sites, the project has developed tangible results, recommendations and methodologies to increase the benefits of tourism on local communities.
